Back in high school, history was one of my favorite subjects. Everyone remembers reading about the Crusades.
The “holy wars” over land are usually but not exclusive to Jerusalem. Which we all know is important to Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
One of my favorite Ridley Scott movies, Kingdom of Heaven, was about the Crudades, too. It’s not historically accurate, but it's great nonetheless. Salahaddin was fantastic in it.
It seems this region of the world is making history again.
