Happy Halloween, folks! 🎃 It's been a while since we covered a supernatural entity and its lore. Let me be your guide and save you from becoming some creature's dinner.
The Skinwalker:
- It is also known as yee naaldlooshii by the Navajo (Diné) people. This translates to “with it, he goes on all fours.”
- A malevolent witch capable of transforming into, possessing, or disguising themselves as an animal such as a fox, bear, coyote, or, in most cases, a wolf. 🐺
- The Navajo tribe doesn’t like to discuss them at all. If you discuss them, it might lead to bad luck or increase the chances of running into one.
- It can be both male or female, usually male.
- It is believed one can become a Skinwalker if they do a heinous crime, such as killing a family member. After which, they will gain the ability to shapeshift.
- Other supernatural powers include super strength, speed, mind reading, and mind control, causing disease and death. If you lock eyes with one of them, you can be controlled, so don't look them…
