Have you ever watched a movie and left feeling emotional, maybe strange?

Feeling something was wrong, perhaps someone was watching you, or something in your mind was changing. Maybe a new fear was unlocked?

I'll be the first to admit it's rare for a movie these days to do that to me.

Making my brain tick.

Since the wife was out of town, I decided, why not see a movie in the theatres alone?

It was the first time I had ever done this. I was always a proponent of the idea that if you're going to watch a movie in the theatres, you must go with someone, or it's weird.

I admit I was wrong and foolish. I somewhat enjoyed it (although I did miss my wife)

Civil War (2024) has been in the cinemas for quite some time now, so why not see it? Tuesday tickets are half off, and it played in IMAX, so that was a bonus.

I've always been a fan of Alex Garland. He has an impressive resume.
